The Electric Tobacconist is a 21st-century tobacconist, offering a one-stop shop for all e-cigarette and vaping supplies. Launched back in July 2013, from humble beginnings to now having shipped over a million orders to customers across the globe since then.
Workspace Interiors were appointed as their Design and Build partners for a second time to design and fit out their new UK headquarters in Hemel Hempstead. This compromises of 5000 sqft of office space and 5000 sqft of storage and fulfilment space. Workspace Interiors bought the initial concepts to life. The first-floor office space captures the Electric Tobacconist’s corporate colours throughout as well as having feature timber slatted walls with neon signage and a new kitchen and breakout area.
A key element in the success of the project was the utilisation of their existing desk systems and complex storage racking. The desking system was expanded to the new first floor configuration allowing for the predicted growth in the operational and management teams. Their existing storage system was carefully re-designed and added to, ensuring maximum storage and ease of picking product for the warehouse team. Workspace Interiors continue to provide planned and reactive maintenance for the Electric Tobacconist.
